To me, the best dual purpose sunglasses were the Mojave Blues. Unfortunately, they have been discontinued for a good 3 years now. So I have to wear two sunglasses, one for indoors and one for outdoors. Why? I already had to have cataract surgery on both eyes at the age of 65, and now, I try to keep sunlight out of my eyes, whenever and wherever possible.I already own the indoor version of these 3M SecureFit 500 sunglasses, and now that the dark version is available, I jumped on them. The good thing about these is that the tint on the lenses are a tad lighter than the Nemesis dark lenses, which I have been wearing up till now. So you can get away with wearing the 3M indoors, in a pinch.I've had three ear surgeries on my left ear, so it hangs a little low. With most sunglasses, it's hard to connect the left temple to sit on my left ear. With these 3M, they wrap around snugly on my head so it's no longer an issue. And you can't beat the adjustable angles on the temples, which is great when you are wearing a mask for COVID. As for safety, they are 3M, so no worries. The lenses are fog-proof and scratchproof. The only con on these is they are a bit pricey.
